Water

I love open water. I'm always happier staying near any water -- creek, stream, pond, lake, river, ocean. Any water will do. Adam and I were able to get away for a bit (without kids! Yippee!!), and see some beautiful water:

I couldn't resist a picture of this adorable, tiny house.

I love the look of piers, thrusting their legs into the water, into the sand beneath, braving each wave.

In one spot, there seemed to be more sailboats than people!

And look at this monster! I couldn't resist photographing the spindly little supports that hold up the hull. Amazing.

Now I'm back in the big mountains, with our rushing streams and towering waterfalls.
