On my drive to the college one morning, I couldn't resist stopping and taking pictures of the concrete launching pad at the hang-gliding place on Scenic Highway. Nobody was there. I'm not sure the photos capture the precarious, tummy-tumbling nature of the slope of this place. It curves off into nowhere.
I suppose the hang-gliders get rigged up, and then start running off the curving platform. See that valley, hundreds upon hundreds feet below?

And that's where I got this beautiful photo -- this is the view that the hang-gliders enjoy, every time.
