Well, both Adam and I are having trouble with our blogger settings.
Anybody else out there having the same issues?
When I go to change my Advanced Template Designer (under 'layout'), blogger will not make any changes. That means I can't change my background color, my border color, any of my text colors, or my fonts. Sigh.
And because Adam's blog is pretty new, I can't snaz it up, like I promised him I would! I tried to go change all those items on his blog, and when it wouldn't take, it made me look like I didn't know what I was doing -- after five years of blogging!
Then I tried to tweak my own blog to go with a new photo/background, and it didn't work for me either.
So ... you are stuck with the sailboat picture (which I like very much) and the spring-like blue background, until Blogger gets its act together. I wanted some autumnal themes. Evidently this is a problem limited to only some blogs, so they are slowly fixing it.
That's all for now. Today I'm taking it easy with a little homeschooling, and then a trip to town this afternoon. Adam's belt broke, after lo these many years of holding up his britches. He must have a new one on Sunday! We'll incorporate a few other in-town errands too.
And for anyone who wants to know, my ESL teaching is going ... okay. It's really stressful to have no idea who is coming for class each time. Will I have no students? Five students? What levels will they be at? New or old students? There's no telling. That kind of unpredictability is what this teacher has tried to avoid, at all costs, for all her teaching years. Guess I'm getting yanked out of my comfort zone, yes?
While in town, we will: visit a parishioner in rehab, get some jewelry-making wire at Michael's, find a belt for Adam, avoid stopping at WalMart because I will spend $65 without even needing anything before I go, and eat at a Mexican restaurant recommended by one of my ESL students. Should be fun! I'd also like to see a bookstore and a yarn store, both downtown. That's a lot for an afternoon.

Oh, I hope your errand-outing is fun! It sounds fun!
I haven't had those same blogger troubles. Whew.
It's been too long since I've visited a yarn store. Hmmmmm.
I hope you find the perfect belt for the pastor!
I am in need of a Sandy photograph or ten. How is the cute girl?
Hiya, I'm free to help you with the template at anytime this evening if you want to.
Just holler. :)
You might want to download a completely different template from another site. That might work better, and there are lots of them out there, once you get to looking.
