Our week at Ridge Haven is over, and now we're back home on the coast. Thank you, Ridge Haven, and all the staff who did such a beautiful job of serving us!
I spent a few minutes taking some photos outside after rain.
There was an occasional yellow tree.
And the occasional red tree.
And ... the occasional red-and-yellow leaf!
This hill goes down from Averett Lodge and Robeson Hall, and back up to the dining hall, Shepherds Hall. Lake Morse is at the bottom down there. Adam and I walked this every time we went to a meal -- good exercise!
A winding gravel road into the woods ~
And just to prove that we did indeed sit through many hours of teaching, here's a classic Dr. Krabbendam pose.
Robeson Hall, lit up at night, from the road below ~
And from the front. It houses the bookstore in addition to the large meeting room.
Averett Lodge has three levels of rooms with private baths and a lounge on each level.
These rockers are lovely places to sit and study the rustling leaves.
And at last, we arrive at our comfy room. Thank you, Ridge Haven, for taking such good care of us!

Gorgeous! What a beautiful place to be refreshed...
We enjoyed our church family camp a few weeks ago. It wasn't anything as 'luxurious' as this but it was fabulous. :)
Blessings, Debbie
