Experiments in Yeast

Julia read about this science experiment in her textbook this morning, and we decided to try it out -- yeast, growing in three different temperature environments. Left bottle: boiling water, middle bottle: 105º water, right bottle: cold water in the frig.

She enjoyed watching the differences, and watching the healthy yeast grow. Of course, it was also a lesson in baking, which is useful.

And afterward, she had 3 balloons to play with!
