Lately I've been making flowers. I looked up a pattern to do one for a friend, and it was so much fun, I made some more. Here's what they look like. This is very thin yard, with a size A crochet hook. Tiny work.
And I did finish the socks, at last.
And I'm nearly done with the afghan. Here's the first row of border. After this, I did a row of double crochet all the way 'round, and now I'm half-way done with a scalloped edge. Can't wait to get this thing finished!
I did another flower last night while we ladies sat together, watching "Lark Rise." What fun! I wanted to make a flower from the teal yarn, but I ran out so quickly, I had to finish with the pink. The stem is a chain stitch using both yarns.
And we do have some glorious rusty-red foliage here. I love October! Today is our "shopping day." I hope you have a blessed, joyful day, and find God's blessings all around you as you move about in His world.

That is a darling pink flower! I will think of you because it's a shopping day for me, too...
Sweet handicrafts!
