First she used a paper clip, and tried to enclose the "stone" in that, but it looked bad. This time, Adam gave her some aluminum wire, which she worked with some pliers. It looks really good! She has a cool ring, but it's still a mystery. Anybody hazard a guess as to what it is?

The Mystery Ring
Over two years ago, when we were at Myrtle Beach, Julia found this perfectly round black ball in the sand.
It's not plastic. It seems more like a stone of some sort, but it's a perfect sphere. It's hard, so it's not oil or something like that. We're mystified about its identity, but she decided to put it in a ring.
