Because when they get older, they're beautiful like this:
Anna, Katie & Hannah. They're cousins. And they're absolutely wonderful.
Anna went with me to West Virginia, as I said, to help me as I helped my sister-in-law and brother. She was great, and never complained. She had to slow up a bit when she caught her little cousin's cold though.
When I got to my other brother's house (Max), his daughters Katie & Hannah were quietly cooking supper and cleaning the kitchen. Anne (s-i-l) was off tending to her mother who'd had surgery.
They did a beautiful job, cheerfully working with each other.
These girls are 14, 16 & 18.
I hope it's not vain to say that we've done a good job.
But the beauty? God gave them that.
