Here is the adorable bundle of happiness I went to the mountains for:
She is one COOL baby :) So beautiful -- she makes soft little purring noises almost all the time. She was 9 lb. at birth. Gotta love those cheeks!!
Her 2 year old sister Grace was fascinated with her, and wanted to be with her all the time. Grace loves baby dolls anyway, and often is carrying one or two under arm, around the house. She thinks it's pretty cool to have a real, live baby in the house :)
I took Anna along to help, and she loved meeting Liberty Margaret too. See that yawn?
Faith was very tired and needed rest, so we did a lot of laundry and cooking and general child-watching. It was great to be among the very first to see the new baby and spend time with her and everyone. We stayed a full 3 days before heading home in MUCH colder weather, but more about that later. I'm pooped!

Oh, how beautiful! I'm so glad you could go and be with those precious people. I miss your mom and dad and hope they can come home soon. You have my overflowing admiration! Love, Hunter
What a sweet opportunity. There is nothing like a baby to give one perspective. (sigh)
