Your Christmas Cactus is pretty. I had to get rid of mine because it had become so huge that it took way too much space considering it only bloomed for 2 or 3 weeks of the year. Seeing yours makes me want to get a small one and start again. It's really nice that you're posting every day. Are you planning on continuing right through Advent?

I love the blooms- it was as if they were painted just for Advent :)

GM - Yes, I really want to post each day in Advent. I'd forgotten I did this last year, just a simple post. We'll see if I stick with it! :)
The Christmas cacti are pretty in the stores. They even had lovely small ones with white blooms in the grocery store yesterday! You should go get one.

I agree :) I always felt they were rather ugly plants, but in December ... wow!!!

LOVELY! I have never had a Christmas cactus and I've yet to pot my Christmas bulb.

That is exactly what happened to me, GM! I gave away my giant one, but I have several smaller ones started from it in two batches. I plan to give most of them away but I think I will keep one for myself and start small again, as you say. It is so heartening when they bloom in the dead of winter. :-)
