Beauty Against the Sky

My neighbor's tree was so breath-taking the other day, I had to take pictures of the beauty.

There. I hope that satisfies your Japanese magnolia needs for the day.

That is one beautiful tree M.K. We had one in our driveway at the last house we owned, but it was several shades darker & we called it a Port Wine Magnolia. It is not all that attractive through the year, but in spring it sure made up for it!

Wow! All I see out my window are sticky branches! No blooms for a while! Thank you for the magnolia glimpses!

Absolutely beautiful! Here in our area we don't have any blooms on the flowering trees yet. They'll pop out on time! No magnolias here but plenty of dogwoods and red buds!

How lovely! The pink is absolutely gorgeous! Spring has arrived at your neck of the woods while we're expecting a bit of snow tomorrow. Crazy! I'm not sure if it will happen but I have to say I'm surprised! Lori

WOW! I would love to have a magnolia tree. They have ones that grow well this far south. It would be a wonderful addition to my gardens. :-) Maybe I can find one reasonably priced. One can hope anyway.

envy here, all we have are, barely, buds.

That is an explosion of petals! I've been enjoying all the Chinese magnolias around here, but not so close-up, so this was indeed satisfying. :-)
