Visiting Kin

Julia and I went to West Virginia for a spring break visit. It was fast, but it was fun. These are mostly photos of Max and Anne's blueberry farm. It was lovely weather with forsythia bursting in bloom and new lambs in the field.

I told Anne that their farm is my 'happy place.' And now that I've toodled around in her greenhouse, it's doubly so -- no place so quiet and peaceful as a greenhouse, I do think. I had a lovely visit there, staying with my parents and enjoying their company, with frequent visits to the farm and great talks with other family members. West Virginia is so beautiful in late March.

Looks like you had a delightful little vacation. WOW, the beauty of those gorgeous forsythia gracing the road is just amazing! I love those blooms and look at them in the floral department constantly, but have never purchased any. Maybe I will one of these day.
I can see why you would call this place a "happy place" what a beautiful farm.
Thank you for sharing your trip with us.

It was good to come for a visit as I have missed coming and seeing your beauty.

Have a beautiful weekend~~

Gorgeous photos! What a pretty farm. And now you have news of your own farm to share with the family. So glad you and Adam have the opportunity to live the farm life like your kin. :)

It's so good to go home, isn't it? Home is where mama is, by the way!
