December Sixteenth

I think I'm painting more. I finished the Autumn Wreath.

Tonight was our Lessons and Carols Service. Very simple - we are a small church. But it was perfect. Visitors came. Carole were sung, scriptures read. Voices raised together in the familiar lines of miracles and mystery. Candles held before faces as Silent Night floated into the darkness.
A year will pass before I hear it all all again.
And we continue to wait in Advent.

Kind of sad to think of waiting an entire year to hear it again.
Have a wonderful week!
