Canning

Why do we call it canning, when we use glass jars? Oh well.

I'm making peach preserves. When I did this last summer, my camera was dying. Peaches are so much more work that strawberries. You must boil the peaches to remove the skins easily, then pit them, then chop and measure them. Strawberries are easier; just cap them as you drop them into the measuring container.

All that to say, I'm not done yet.
