Peter returned today from a wonderful week in West Virginia at my brother and sister-in-law's blueberry farm, White Oak Blueberry Farm. It's a pick-your-own farm, and boy were they busy! It is a bumper crop this year, and their farm is quite popular. I'm not surprised, considering that they work hard all year long to make it an idyllic place for all visitors. Peter had a great time working and playing. I think it's his favorite place on earth. He must have said about a dozen times this evening, "It was SO MUCH FUN!"
Since Philip, The Picky Eater is now gone for a week, Adam is free to cook more to his own likes. He got this recipe for Ragu from the Saveur magazine. It was SO good - the ragu has veggies sauteed in wine, with little meat. Adam made the pasta himself. Delicious and healthy.
