A friend gave us a huge bowl of cherries at church yesterday. Last night, Adam and I pitted them all (seriously, there must have been about a thousand). I didn't want to can them, really, so I just cooked them down some, added lots of sugar (they were very tart), and put them in the frig.
And since Adam fixed our oven today (YAY for my handy husband :)) I can make a cherry pie. Or two. If they turn out nicely, I'll post a pic.
