How hot is it?

Technically speaking, it's only 101.5 degrees. At 3:35. What was it 2 hours ago? I didn't check -- too scary :%

Here's an anecdote for you: A few minutes ago, I said to Adam, "I think I smell smoke. Like smoke from the fireplace. Hm." Julia said, "I smell it too." We were sitting in the living room. We sniffed around, couldn't find anything burning. Nothing outside. Then Adam the Wise made this observation, "It's probably the sun shining on the chimney stack, baking the creosote in the chimney." He was right. He closed the flue. That should help!

It's pretty hot out there, when you house is cooking :)
