Coming Down From the Mountain

The hardest thing about leaving Covenant? Saying good-bye to this fellow:

The fall colors are just barely beginning to show.

I love how the thin, gold leaves shimmer and quiver in the light.

This is a driveway near us. This photo did not capture the color of the leaf floor; they're rusty red. I may need to pick a less-bright time of day. I love the look of this drive. I wonder what's up there?
