I've been waiting to share this, but I'm happy to report that my husband finally has found a job -- a pastorate! We've very happy and excited. He's been asked by our denomination to be a church developer/church planter. He'll be pastoring a small church north of Charlotte, as it relocates and tries to grow in the next year particularly. It's right up his alley -- visiting, meeting people, being friendly, organizing fun events, and lots of good preaching and teaching.
This all starts May 1, but he's doing some preliminary work now. We'd appreciate your prayers and support. One thing we're thankful for is that we'll be able to stay here, in our home, even though it's a little bit of a commute for him. But we're grateful that we can stay in our home -- this isn't a good time to try to sell, and in our area, homes have lost a lot of value.
We hope that, as the church grows, Adam will be able to stay there permanently. He is so excited. Many thanks to all of you who have prayed for us and encouraged us through this difficult time of waiting and looking. God has always provided, and has answered our prayers in such a rich and wonderful way.
